Worcester Greenstar 9i 12i 15i 18i 21i 24i Boiler Inlet Adaptor 87161064390

Product Overview

The Worcester Bosch Greenstar Boiler Inlet Adaptor (Part Number: 87161064390) is a hydraulic connection component intended for selected Worcester Bosch heating systems.

The inlet adaptor forms part of the boiler's internal pipework and connection arrangement, providing a connection point between associated hydraulic components.

Correct installation and sealing of the adaptor are important for maintaining the integrity of the boiler's water circuit and preventing leakage.

ℹ️ Product Condition Options:

This part may be available in New or Refurbished condition. Please select your desired option from the dropdown menu above. Refurbished components should be professionally inspected for damage, corrosion, wear and leakage before installation.

Technical Insight & Common Failure Symptoms

The inlet adaptor is a mechanical hydraulic fitting designed to connect associated components within the boiler's water circulation system.

Its primary function is to provide a secure connection and maintain the integrity of the relevant hydraulic circuit.

Over time, hydraulic fittings may be affected by corrosion, mechanical damage, deterioration of sealing surfaces or wear affecting their connections.

Possible signs that the inlet adaptor or associated components require inspection include:

• Water leakage around the adaptor or its connections.

• Visible corrosion or deterioration of the fitting.

• Cracks, deformation or physical damage.

• Damaged or worn sealing surfaces.

• Loose or insecure hydraulic connections.

• Heating system pressure loss associated with leakage.

• Damage identified during boiler servicing.

These symptoms do not necessarily confirm a faulty inlet adaptor, as similar problems may result from damaged seals, pipework connections or other hydraulic components. Correct professional diagnosis should be carried out before replacement.

Compatibility

This part (MPN: 87161064390) is associated with selected Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler systems.

Please verify the exact boiler model, GC number, part number, inlet connection arrangement and component specifications against the manufacturer's technical documentation before ordering to ensure correct fitment.

Safety Advice

Boiler inlet adaptors and associated pressurised hydraulic components should only be inspected, removed or installed by a suitably qualified and competent heating engineer.

Always isolate the appliance and allow the heating system to cool before carrying out any work. The relevant heating circuit must be safely isolated and depressurised before removing the adaptor. Follow the manufacturer's servicing instructions and complete all required pressure, leakage and operational safety checks before returning the boiler to service.
