Worcester 25CDi 30CDi 35CDi 40CDi Combi Boiler Burner 87180066580

Product Overview

The Worcester Bosch Boiler Burner (Part Number: 87180066580) is a replacement combustion component designed for selected Worcester Bosch heating systems.

Part number 87180066580 is identified as a Boiler Burner, forming part of the appliance's gas combustion and heat generation system.

The burner is responsible for supporting the controlled combustion of gas within the boiler. The heat generated during combustion is transferred through the boiler's heat exchanger to the heating water.

Correct burner operation is essential for reliable heat generation and safe boiler operation.

ℹ️ Product Condition Options:

This part may be available in New or Refurbished condition. Please select your desired option from the dropdown menu above. Refurbished burners should be professionally inspected and tested to confirm their condition and suitability before installation.

Technical Insight & Common Failure Symptoms

The boiler burner is a component of the combustion system, where the gas and combustion air mixture is ignited to generate heat.

The burner operates alongside the gas valve, ignition components, fan and boiler safety controls to support the appliance's normal combustion sequence.

Over time, burner performance may be affected by contamination, corrosion, physical deterioration or damage to its combustion surfaces.

Possible symptoms that may indicate a burner or associated combustion system problem include:

• Boiler failing to ignite or fire correctly.

• Burner failing to establish or maintain a stable flame.

• Intermittent burner operation.

• Irregular combustion or flame behaviour.

• Boiler entering an ignition-related safety lockout.

• Visible corrosion, contamination or damage affecting the burner.

• Burner performance affected by restrictions or deterioration.

These symptoms do not necessarily confirm a faulty burner, as similar problems may result from ignition electrodes, gas valve faults, combustion airflow issues, electrical controls or other boiler components. Correct professional diagnosis should be carried out before replacement.

Compatibility

This part (MPN: 87180066580) is associated with selected Worcester Bosch 25CDi, 30CDi, 35CDi and 40CDi boiler systems.

Please verify the exact boiler model, GC number, burner part number and appliance specifications against the manufacturer's technical documentation before ordering to ensure correct fitment.

Safety Advice

Boiler burners are safety-critical components within the appliance's gas combustion system. Inspection, removal and installation must only be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer who is suitably qualified for the appliance and work being undertaken.

Always isolate the appliance and gas supply before carrying out any work and follow the manufacturer's installation and servicing instructions. The burner and associated combustion chamber seals must be correctly installed, and all required gas-tightness, combustion analysis, flue integrity and operational safety checks must be completed before the boiler is returned to service.
