Product Overview
The Vaillant THERMOcompact Boiler Printed Circuit Board (PCB) (Part Number: 130438) is an electronic control component used within selected Vaillant boiler systems.

This product may be available in New or Refurbished condition. Please select the required option when ordering.
Technical Insight & Common Failure Symptoms
The Printed Circuit Board is a central electronic control component within the boiler. A suspected PCB fault requires correct diagnosis, as similar symptoms can be caused by wiring, sensors, switches or other boiler components.
Possible symptoms that may require investigation of the PCB or associated electrical system include:
-
Boiler failing to start or operate correctly
-
Intermittent boiler operation
-
Boiler failing to respond to demand
-
Unexpected shutdowns or lockouts
-
Electrical or control-related faults
These symptoms do not necessarily confirm a faulty PCB. The associated electrical components and connections should be correctly tested before the PCB is replaced.
Safety Advice
Boiler PCBs and other electrical control components should only be diagnosed, removed or installed by a suitably qualified and competent heating engineer.
Always isolate the electrical supply before carrying out any work and follow the manufacturer's installation and servicing instructions. Where work is carried out on a gas appliance, the appropriate safety and operational checks must be completed before the boiler is returned to service.
