Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 612 615 618 624 630 637 Boiler Red Seal 0020085467

Product Overview

The Vaillant ecoTEC Plus Boiler Red Seal (Part Number: 0020085467) is a sealing component designed for selected Vaillant heating systems.

Part number 0020085467 is identified as a Red Seal, used within the boiler's component connection and sealing arrangements.

The seal helps maintain a secure connection between the relevant mating surfaces, reducing the risk of leakage during normal appliance operation.

Correct installation and sealing integrity are important for maintaining the reliability of the associated boiler components.

ℹ️ Product Condition Options:

This part may be available in New or Refurbished condition. Please select your desired option from the dropdown menu above. Any seal considered for reuse must meet the manufacturer's servicing requirements and be free from damage or deterioration.

Technical Insight & Common Failure Symptoms

Boiler seals are used to maintain secure, leak-resistant connections between mating components.

Over time, sealing components may deteriorate due to temperature exposure, compression, ageing or physical damage during servicing.

A damaged or incorrectly fitted seal may compromise the integrity of the associated connection.

Possible signs that the seal or associated components require inspection include:

• Visible cracking, splitting or deterioration of the seal.

• Flattening or deformation of the sealing material.

• Loss of flexibility or elasticity.

• Damaged or worn sealing surfaces.

• Seal failing to sit correctly within its intended connection.

• Signs of leakage around the associated joint.

• Physical damage identified during boiler servicing.

These signs do not necessarily confirm that the seal is responsible for a boiler fault, as similar problems may result from damaged fittings, incorrectly assembled connections or other components. Professional inspection should be carried out before replacement.

Compatibility

This part (MPN: 0020085467) is associated with selected Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 612, 615, 618, 624, 630 and 637 boiler systems.

Please verify the exact boiler model, serial number, seal dimensions, installation location and part number against the manufacturer's technical documentation before ordering to ensure correct fitment.

Safety Advice

Boiler sealing components must only be inspected, removed or installed by a suitably qualified and competent heating engineer. Where the seal forms part of a gas or combustion-related assembly, the work must be carried out by an appropriately qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.

*Always isolate the appliance and follow the manufacturer's servicing instructions before carrying out any work. Ensure the correct seal is fitted and all disturbed connections are properly reassembled. Complete all applicable leakage, pressure and operational safety checks before returning the boiler to servic
